We’re so sorry to have been neglectful! I am so happy to say that we are finally mostly settled into life in New York. We have a cozy little space in Brooklyn, we have another roommate (you’ll likely meet her soon!), and we have a LOT of coffee mugs. Seriously, come over for coffee.
We are so excited to start sharing our new adventures with you guys! Moving is obviously stressful, but settling into a new city took much more time than I thought it would. Madison + I have lived in the same Virginia town for so long, and between the two of us, we know every nook + cranny of Richmond! It has been exciting, terrifying, and eye-opening to experience life somewhere that’s 99% unfamiliar. Everything is new to us! We’re practically babies again! And that’s exactly what it feels like, which is at times amazing, and at times frustrating . Each day means a new weird achievement: not getting lost on the subway, finding the perfect time of day to hit up Trader Joe’s, making friends at a new job, + getting more info on the sexy neighborhood barista that we may, at this point, be straight-up stalking. Oops.
Now that we’re mostly adjusted, and things seem to be slowing down just a little, it’s time to get back to blogging. I put off writing for about a month because I was overwhelmed with where to begin! So please, bear with me while I get back into the rhythm of things. We have so many projects to share + so many places to explore! 2017 has so much personal potential, despite the turmoil happening around us, and I’m excited to see where the year will take us.
